Sephora F&F Haul

For this year’s Sephora F&F, I hardly did any damage.  When I was putting together my list I couldn’t find any makeup items that caught my eye and I felt like everything I was interested in I already have something similar, so I decided to invest in some skincare products instead.  So here is my haul:

Fuzzie’s Mix and Match Challenge!

Uhh I hope I made it just in time haha, as always I do everything at the last minute.  However, I have been thinking about my outfits and have changed my mind several times before I decided on this final version.  So here it is!

Drugstore Gems, Oufits

As the weather is getting colder, I have been slowly transitioning into Fall/Winter trends for this year, and I have been craving dark colors for nails, eyes, and even lips!  I am pretty much a nude or MLBB girl all the way, I cannot walk out the house with dark or bright lips, but latley I have really been wanting to rock a vampy lip that is everywhere this season, but I didn’t quite want to take the plunge and go out and buy an expensive lipstick that I may or may not use.  So, what better way to test out new colors than going to the drugstore and try out some inexpensive alternatives??

One of my favorite drugstore lipsticks is the CoverGirl TruShine line, they have really expanded the color selection and the texture is fantastic.  These lipsticks are sheer and moisturizing, and give your lips a kiss of color and shine without being heavy, they are kind of a hybrid between a gloss and a lipstick.  Plus, the best thing is that they are super cheap, about $6-8 each regular price, but there are always some good deals going on, like BOGOF!

I visited my local Long’s Drugs today, and lo and behold, these lipsticks were buy one get one free! I picked up 2 colors that I normally wouldn’t wear: Watermelon Shine and Cherry Shine:

Soft Daytime Smoky, NOTW

I have been kind of obsessed with smoky eyes lately.  Nothing too dramatic or over the top, just very subtle and soft smoky eyes for daytime.  If I’m going out at night I just add more eyeliner and dark eyeshadow for a full-on smoky eye.  I love it!

Also, the promised tutorial on my new makeup application is coming soon  promise!  It’s actually not a new makeup application in general, just a new one for ME, since I usually apply my eye makeup differently, so this seems experimental to me, but some of you probably do it this way already anyway lol.

It doesn’t look terribly smoky here, but that’s why it’s subtle!

Boscia Review

Remember how I bought the Boscia eye cream from Sephora a few weeks ago? Well I saw the Sephora website that there is this new limited edition set called Best of Boscia which includes 3 Full-Size Boscia products, one of which is the very same eye cream that I bought, for only $48!! I mean, the eye cream by itself is already $38, so why not spend $10 more and get 2 more full-sized products? So I returned the eye cream and ordered the set online (it’s online only).  I have been using them for about a week now, and I know it’s a little premature to really see the effects of any skincare products, but I want to just briefly review how they are so far because I am seriously in love with everything!

Best of Boscia set, comes in a cute white and silver box that’s reusable:

Smokies, Sephora Haul, NOTW

So lately I have been using an entirely different way of applying eye makeup, and I love it! It’s fast and easy and involves minimal blending.  Most of the looks come out kind of smokey, but it doesn’t have to be.  I’m going to make a short little tutorial on it soon, but in the meanwhile here are some smokey looks that I did with my new method.

New polishes for Fall

We all know that the big trends this fall is grey, purple, grey, purple, and more grey and purple! Oh and some metallics as well.   I have been wanting to get the new OPI by Sephora nail polish in Metro Chic, but it’s been sold out online for a whole month, and it was also sold out at my local Sephora.  So I decided to just order some OPI ones online, well I meant to only order one, but ended up buying 5!! ><  Bad Audrie, bad.  But these colors turned out to be so pretty!  Besides, I was getting really sick of all the reds, pinks, and vampy colors that I normally wear, it’s fun to change it up a bit with new shades.  Now my nails are all set for Fall/Winter!

L to R: OPI You Don’t Know Jacques, OPI Parlez Vou OPI, China Glaze Prize Winning Mare, China Glaze Wagon Trail, China Glaze Recycle

Colors are deeper in real life, the flash kind of washed them out, as usual.

Woohoo 3rd post in a day! I am just trying to make up for the long hiatus haha.  Anyway, I recently made 2 little hauls from Sephora, because let’s face it, I can’t really go too many weeks without getting something from Sephora aka the best store there is.

Haul #1 from the Sephora store:
